1. Topic-
Genogram/Ecomap

2. Content-
The focus of this lesson is to reinforce the students prior knowledge of family systems as discussed and developed in previous classes. The students will use their knowledge base with additional information provided by intern to draw a genogram and an ecomap to chart the connections and verbal/nonverbal exchanges between family system and outside systems.
The success of this lesson will be evaluated through:
1)group participation.
2)group product.
3)group presentation.

3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Student will identify universal genogram symbols provided on hand out 1 and draw a genogram of a family system.
2.Student will identify universal ecomap symbols provided on hand out 2 and map connections and exchanges between members of the family system and outside systems that effect that family system.
3.Student will cohesively process and discuss their family system and then communicate the connections and exchanges to fellow classmates.

4. Objectives-
1.Student will cohesively work with group members to design and draw a family system.
2.Student will cohesively work with group members to design and map connections and verbal/nonverbal exchanges between their family system's members and outside systems.
3.Student will cohesively work with group members to design and present their genogram and ecomap to class.
