A. Introduction-
1.Give everyone a piece of blank paper and a marker
2.Prevail the first phase with its name
3.Have everyone draw a picture of the first phase and spell the name
together as a class |

B. Development-
1.The Smart Board will have a picture of the moon on it during each
phase
2.The students will be drawing a picture along with seeing a picture
3.The will be speaking aloud as a class together |

1.The student will draw the phases of the moon in order
2.The students will label the phases of the moon in order
3.The students will say aloud the names of each phase in order |

1.The students will be given a worksheet containing the different
phases of the moon

| 1.For students that have seeing impairments there will be a worksheet
with the diagram of the moon raised so that the student can feel the
different shapes the moon makes |

1.Show students different pictures of the moon such as the Blood
