Computer, PowerPoint, Student activity on paper, basketball, grapefruit,
orange, peppercorn, rice, peas, plum,toilet paper and bouncy ball.

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-
1. Students put into a small group to work together to explain size
of the planets
2. Students will have the expectations explained to them.
3. Students will identify the size of the planets through a worksheet |

B. Development-
1. Teachers will introduce the lesson of the solar systems
2. Teachers go over the rubric and expectations of the project.
3. Students will line up in the hallway to demonstrate how meteors
will hit certain planets. |

C. Practice-
1. Students will know the size of the planets through a worksheet.
2. Students will know the names of the planets.
3. Students will be able to put the planets in order. |
