Science Vocabulary; bone marrow, joints, tendons, ligaments, smooth muscle, neuron and receptors.

2.Students will be able to understand the muscular system.
3.Students will be able to understand the nervous system.
 
4. Objectives-
1.The students will be able to name and label the skeletal system.
2.The students will be able to describe how the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems work together.

Science books, Student science notebooks, flash cards, document camera, illustrations of the skeletal, muscular and nervous system.

A. Introduction-

1. Post test and labeling skeletal system.
2. Vocabulary activity and flash cards.
3. Explanation of goals for the week.
 

B. Development-

1.Demonstrate vocabulary activity.
2.Have illustrations available.

1.Read pages A24-A27
2.Review vocabulary for the lesson.
3.Class discussions on the systems and how they work.

1.Students make Flashcards for vocabulary with pictures.
2.Study the skeletal system and vocabulary.
