1. Topic-
History and Endangerment of Pandas
 
2. Content-
I will inform them the history behind pandas, why they are endangered and any additional interesting information.
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1. Teach the class uncommon information about pandas
2. Teach the class the history behind pandas
3. Teach kids why exactly pandas are going extinct.
 
4. Objectives-
1. I would like to see them get an interest in animals.
2. I would like to have them think about treating our environment better.
3. I would like so see them listen and pay attention and actually like the presentation.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
flash drive, survey, camera, pen, notes, teacher reflection form, smart board/ projector and computer.
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1. Introduce myself.
2. Introduce my project.
3. explain the background of what I will be talking about
 

B. Development-

1. Present my project.
2. Ask if they have questions and ask them what they liked.
3. Pass out survey.
 

C. Practice-

1. Practice infront of family.
2. Practice infront of a close honest friend who could tell me what I should fix with speaking and everything.
3. Have my mom check my spelling in my PowerPoint.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Go over my slides.
2. Double check my survey
3. Make sure I understand my note cards.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. If there is a kid with a wheelchair I will make sure they get to sit in the front and see the project clearly.
2. If someone doesn't understand my project I will explain in greater detail so they can.
3. If there was a sick kid I would stop my presentation and make sure they get to the nurse and then proceed where I left off.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. I will ask if anyone has questions and answer them.
2. I will ask what they liked to make sure they paid attention.
3. I will pass out the survey I created with different types of questions.
 

G. Closure-

1. I will collect the survey I handed out.
2. I will thank everyone for being a good audience.
 
7. Evaluation-
1. I will be evaluated by the teacher in the class I'm presenting to.
2. I will look over the surveys to see everyone's answers and see what questions were more unknown or were commonly known.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
The teacher will fill out a form that states that I have done my practice presentation to their class and reflect on how I did.
