3.Students will be able to compare and contrast population growth between continents and future changes caused by this.

1.Discussion on human population growth and how it will likely be the biggest social issue within their lifetime.
2.Video presentation of probably changes within the human population and ramifications.
 

B. Development-

1.Discussion of human population growth and problems.
2.Video documentary over human population growth and the issues related to it.
3.Problem solving discussion on how we can meet the needs of future generations.
 

C. Practice-

1.Discussion over environmental issues caused by human overpopulation.
2.Discussion over social issues caused by human overpopulation.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Opinion report concerning the students opinion over seriousness of human population growth.
2.Note taking activity and discussion over problems and solutions associated with overpopulation
