3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Students will be able to ask questions about others' work.
2.Students will be able to respond questions about others' work.
3.Students will be able to respectfully challenge others' ideas or thinking.

4. Objectives-
SWBAT:
1.Students will learn about incomplete dominance and codominance.
2.Students will learn how to test cross both incomplete dominance and codominance.
3.In conclusion, for both days, students will learn that genetic information is passed from parent to offspring.

5. Materials and Aids-
Cell and Heredity interactive science workbook, online presentation, notebook, or binder for notes.

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Define the few new vocabulary words.
2.Facts on incomplete dominance.
*(Lowercase letters.)*
3.Facts on codominance.
*(Only uppercase letters.)*

B. Development-

1.Do Now
2.Presentation
3.Worksheets
4.Activity

C. Practice-

1.Example of incomplete patterns and codominance through pictures or diagrams.
2.Example of test crossing incomplete dominance and codominance. (With teacher).

D. Independent Practice-

1."Solve Yourself" example. On incomplete dominance and codominance.
2.Classwork on incomplete dominance and codominance.
3.Homework on incomplete dominance and codominance.

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Watch videos on incomplete dominance and codominance.
2.Fill in worksheets on incomplete dominance and codominance.

F. Checking for understanding-

1. Exit Slip ("Apply your knowledge" questions.)
2.Quiz on Day 2.
3.Test on the whole lesson.

G. Closure-

1.Make posters on genetics.
(Half the posters containing facts about day 1 and the other half of the posters containing facts about day 2.)
2.Students will grade each others' posters respectfully and fairly.

7. Evaluation-
1.All exits slips are 4 out of 5.
2.All quizzes and tests are above an 80.

8. Teacher Reflection-
The lesson was a pretty easy lesson for the students to learn. The pacing was just right. For the next lesson though, there should be more problems given out to the students just to make sure they have a complete understanding of the lesson. Overall, all the students passed this lesson with high 80s.
