Students will compare and contrast primates and their adaptation. Then they will analyze the evidence for the ancestry of humans
 
3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
Students will discover the shared characteristic of primates. The characteristics of each primate group are explored and the evolution of primates life is explained
 
4. Objectives-
1. Recognize the adaptation of primates.
2. Compare and contrast the diversity of living primates
3. Distinguish the evolutionary relationship of primate
4. Summarize the major anatomical change in hominids during human evolution

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Quick section pre quiz & a check for understanding
 

B. Development-

Circle time for going over the chapter. (Circle is when the class gets in a physical circle. I assign each student section in the chapter and they review their section only and come up with 5-10 interesting facts. We then go around the circle and review everyone section and students copy notes in there journals.
 

C. Practice-

Compare and contrast poster Apelike and Humanlike
 

D. Independent Practice-

Students will create children's books based on their understanding of the material.
