Game pieces for tic-tac-toe
Computers with Internet access and/or other air pollution reference
materials
A variety of art materials for presentation props (Students should
also contribute)

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1.Read about Pollution
2.Identify The Six Infamous Pollutants
3.Break the class into 6 groups |

B. Development-
1.Explain the group project and how every group has a different
pollutant
2.Demonstrate how the game works |
|
|
C. Practice-
1.Go and ask each group their ideas for the project and help them
get started
2.Play the tic-tac-toe
|
|
|
D. Independent Practice-
Have them first research each of The Six Infamous Pollutants
|
|
|
E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
If there are second language learners that are struggling put them
in a group with strong leader or a ESL student of higher knowledge.

F. Checking for understanding-
1.After they all have gotten started with their projects, go and
ask them if the understand their topic
