1.Inform cadets on the theory of evolution explaining and using
visual diagrams.
2.Inform cadets on the creator of the theory including facts of the
persons background etc.
3.The evidence of evolution can be expressed through diagrams and
explanation, explaining to the cadets what evidence of evolution is
present in their home town. |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1.Introduce self.
2.Introduce topic.
3.Show class lesson aims/ objectives. |

B. Development-
1.Explain the theory of evolution with aid of PowerPoint presentation,show
evolution video to class
2. Present the creator of the theory (Charles Darwin) present facts
about him: when the theory was developed?, why?, how?
3. The evidence of evolution: Fossils,Carbon Dating, DNA comparison
etc. use diagrams to explain evidence found. |

Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1. Adaptations may be made to the lesson plan if individual needs
are needed to be accommodated to.
2. May need to print colored sheet print outs (for children who can
not read black on white)
3. Read what is said on PowerPoint in case specific cadets struggle
to read projection.

Checking for understanding-
1. Once all topics are covered I will proceed with a final overview
to ensure the cadets understanding of the topic.
2. I will check understanding by asking whether any of the cadets
do not understand a certain element of the lesson. |
