1. Review Polygons & Lines of Symmetry.
2. Learn what a quadrilateral is & characteristics
3. Learn (Review) how to locate items on a map and understand coordinates.

Math to the Max Module
Smartboard/Whiteboard
 
Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1. Review Polygons & Lines of Symmetry.
2. Introduce Quadrilaterals (Reflecting on Quadrilaterals)
3. Introduce the map exercise and how to locate items on it.
 

B. Development-

1. Review together as a class.
2. They will complete assignments in the module.
3. Students will answer questions on the white board.
 

C. Practice-

1. Students will answer my various questions
2. Students will work on exercises in the module
3. we will use the smartboard to review
 

D. Independent Practice-

Students will then work on exercises: Reflecting on Quadrilaterals
Ordering of Symmetry
The Quadrilateral Test
Mathematical Activities
Coordinate Creation 3
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. I will provide equal opportunity for all students to get involved,
