1. Rub balloon on head, stick to wall
2. being able to cause static electricity

5. Materials and Aids-

wool, balloons, salt/pepper, cookie tray, comb |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
King/Prince/Princesses volunteers. Prince falls MADLY in love with
princess. Asks King for her hand, King says no. Prince asks again,
saying he NEEDS her to be his wife, he loves her so so much. King
relents saying they may get married only if prince can perform the
most difficult task King can think of. Task- salt/pepper mix. Talk
about how to do this impossible task, all while blowing up balloon
and rubbing it on hair. Run Balloon over mixture, pulling out the
pepper. |

B. Development-
1. Does anyone know what made this work? (static electricity)
2. What are some other things that make objects act funny when you
touch them? (slide, balloon, carpet)
3. Use volunteer to make hair stand up, let her stick balloon to the
wall |
