6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Read "When Sophia Gets Angry-Really-Really Angry" to students.
2.Ask students if they have ever been as angry as Sophia was.
 

B. Development-

1.Talk to students about what anger is.
2. Describe conflict
 

C. Practice-

Allow students to show what anger is by using facial and body expressions
 

D. Independent Practice-

Have children role play 2 situations per person
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

Some children may need to be asked to express other emotions besides anger
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Ask children to define what they think anger and conflict is
2.Ask students to talk about the best ways to express feelings and emotions
 

G. Closure-

Paint a picture of their current emotion.
