1. see what ways the students learn best how to take care of there heart.
2. teach basic information about the organ
3. what ways to keep your heart healthy
 
4. Objectives-
1. Get the kids to exercise there heart on there owns
2. Kids be able to tell other people on effective ways to care for your heart
3. Get kids more enthusiastic on helping there body become more healthier for example the heart
 
5. Materials and Aids-
Power point on basic information about the heart.
Heart diagrams
table sheets to have kids create there own healthy table for there heart
3 exercises to keep your heart healthy: for example jump rope
 
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Explain my personal project
2. Basic information on the heart and different parts of the heart
3. Why we should keep our heart healthy and there are consciences
 

B. Development-

1. a understanding for the heart
2. importance of a healthy heart
3. if we don't take care of our heart, there are bad things that can happen
 

C. Practice-

1. Diagram of the heart on a sheet of paper. Students color in the different parts of the heart
2.make our own table. On what to eat and not to eat to keep our heart healthy
3.jump rope... because jump rope is very good for our heart(explain why)
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Quiz the students on the different heart parts
2.Have the students tell me about why to keep the heart healthy
3.Have the students make a PowerPoint on different consequences of unhealthy hearts..

 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

this tells me what they have learned from my different teaching skills and what ways were effective to the students. The different teaching skills would be: talking, using actions, seeing.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

ask the students about feedback to help me answer my personal project question and to help put into my personal project.
 

G. Closure-

go over everything told to the students so the students really understand the importance of a healthy heart.
 
7. Evaluation-
go over the feedback of the students and mine and the videos made. To help me answer my personal project question.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
reflect in personal project blog, website of effective teaching ways, and report.
