Fake money, Teacher edition social studies book, worksheet, pictures
of items that can be bought, name tags. |

6. Procedures/Methods-
|
A. Introduction-
1. I will first have the students tell me the definition of a good,
service and producer.
2. Then I will have my students illustrate a picture of both a goods
and a service.

|
B. Development-
1. Next I will pass out name tags to people, some will be consumers
while others will be producers.
2. I will go through and define those terms for the students.
3. Next we will read the story in the social studies book.
4. Finally I will have the producers go to areas of the room with
pictures of things they are selling the consumers will have bags of
fake money that they will use to go around and shop with. I will have
a couple specialized workers that will provide services. |

C. Practice-
1. Act out buying things/being a consumer and a producer and a specialized
worker.
2. We will read a story together in the social studies book.
3. We will complete a worksheet that goes along with the reading and
the vocabulary. |

To wrap up I will go through all the vocabulary from today's lesson
