How to treat Shock
First aid for - cuts and scratches, burns and scalds, choking, blisters
on the hand and foot, tick bites, bites and stings of insects other
than ticks, poisonous snakebites, nosebleed, frostbite, sunburn.
How to take a safe swim with your Webelos den, pack, family, or other
group. Use buddy system.
Safety equipment while playing sports or riding bicycles/skateboards

Latex gloves, mouth-barrier device, plastic goggles or eye protection,
antiseptic, handkerchiefs or triangular bandages, band-aids. |

A. Introduction-
Explain each skill to be learned, why it is important, signs and
symptoms of the emergency, and what dangers to be aware of when performing
each skill. |

Demonstrate skills for cub scouts |

Have cub scouts practice on each other. |

D. Independent Practice-
Remind cub scouts to practice at home and discuss with their families. |

Review skills taught, signs and symptoms, and what dangers to be
aware of. |
