5. Materials and Aids-
Latex gloves, mouth-barrier device, plastic goggles or eye protection, antiseptic, handkerchiefs or triangular bandages, band-aids.
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Explain each skill to be learned, why it is important, signs and symptoms of the emergency, and what dangers to be aware of when performing each skill.

B. Development-

Demonstrate skills for cub scouts

C. Practice-

Have cub scouts practice on each other.

D. Independent Practice-

Remind cub scouts to practice at home and discuss with their families.

Checking for understanding-

Review skills taught, signs and symptoms, and what dangers to be aware of.
Teacher Reflection-
Review all the lessons taught with cub scouts while having them repeat steps, repeat signs and symptoms, and talk about dangers.
