3.Students will be equipped with some knowledge on which firearm to purchase in the future.
 
4. Objectives-
1.Students will identify the different kinds of firearms.

2.Students will identify the different operations of firearms.

3.Students will identify the appropriate ammunition for every firearm explained.
 
5. Materials and Aids-
PowerPoint presentation
Related literature
Media clips
Bond paper

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Video clip of a war movie.

2.Video clip of another war movie.

3.Video clip of recent conflict in current events.
 

B. Development-

1.Instructor will explain powerpoint articles in a simple, yet effective manner.

2.Instructor will present related literature to class.

3.Instructor will provide additional information about the topic basing from personal knowledge.
 

C. Practice-

1.Instructor will announce to class that a group activity is going to occur.

2.Instructor will divide the class into 4 groups. Each group will select a leader.

3.Instructor will call the group leaders to be instructed.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Instructor will have four folded pieces of paper written with a type of firearm.

2.Instructor will let the group leaders select a piece of paper.

3.Instructor will instruct the group leaders to draw two examples of their chosen firearm category.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Instructor will let each group have a reference.

2. The powerpoint slides.

3. The related literature.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Instructor shall assist the students during the activity.

2.Instructor will make the groups explain to the class what they drew.

3.Groups will pass their work to instructor.
 

G. Closure-

1.Instructor will provide a short recap of the lesson.

2.Instructor will explain the most important terms to remember.
 
7. Evaluation-
Instructor will give a short quiz on the next day.
 
8. Teacher Reflection-
Instructor shall provide a refresher if the topic is forgotten by students.
