1.Understand the responsibilities parents must fulfill when they have children
2.Understand the responsibilities of children to the parents
3.Understand the difference and legal aspects of child abuse and child neglect
 
4. Objectives-
1. The legal concepts students will understand the various responsibilities of parenthood at an 80% efficiency rate as measured by teacher develop assessment
2.The legal concepts student will understand the definitions, differences, and legal aspect surrounding child abuse and child neglect with 80% efficiency rate as measured by teacher develop assessment

A. Introduction-

1.Inform students of the legal obligations and social duties of parenting
2.Introduce students to the dangers of and the scope of child abuse and neglect in America
 

B. Development-

1.PPT Responsibilities Between Parents and Children

C. Practice-

Complete the chapter 32 research questionnaire
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Collabortive study of textbook problems 32.1, 32.4, and 32.9
2. Students discuss the intent of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act on page 399
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Universial IEP accommodation as per student IEP
2.Provide verbal encouragement
3.Assist student understand the context of questions on the assessment
