1. Students will be able to put important dates in chronological
order and state how these events were significant to the Constitution
using Kidspiration.
2. Students will review events, cause and effects, and facts about
the American Revolution using Kidspiration. |

1. 1-B-3 Explain the significance of major historical documents.
2. 3-A-1 Explain how the three branches of national government function.
3.3-C-1 Describe the narrative of people and events associated with
the development of the US Constitution. |

Practice moving things around on kidspiration, using various tools.

D. Independent Practice-
1.Students - complete the graphic organizer Constitution Chronology
2.Students will complete the American Rev graphic organizer as a review
for the test.

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
1.Fill in a few boxes to reduce the amount for SPED students.
2.Students may use pictures instead of words.
3. Students who have handwriting difficult will be able to type the
responses. |

Aided students in understanding assignment and guiding them. |

G. Closure-
Students will send me their completed work and comment on their
experience via Mrs. Jones' wiki.

8. Teacher Reflection-
|
Students commented they enjoyed the assignments and would like an
opportunity to work again on Kidspiration. Many assignments weren't
finished. Students don't have access to their files except here at
school. I would need to give them more time to complete the assignment,
maybe another day. Some students just messed with changing colors
and moving things around, not really putting anything of content into
the assignment. Students didn't use this time to really review properly.
I will have to tweak the lesson for next time to allow for those slower
students. |
