2. Students will be to summarize the advances of technology, transportation through the use of a Bubble Thinking Map of the "Advances" of the North.
 
4. Objectives-
1. Students will be able to explain the advances made in technology in the North and how it shaped the economy.
2. Students will be able to describe how the new kinds of transportation and communication spurred economic growth in the North.
