3. Students will be assigned to write a paragraph about a specific
event that interests them the most and present it to the class. |

AV for PowerPoint, PowerPoint presentation will have photographs
to help students associate the actual events to the words spoken during
the lecture. |

B. Development-
1. Why would France and England have to fight for land? Couldn't
they share?
2. What would happen if you were a family in the colonies? Would you
agree to British tax's?
3. Explain the tensions between British Parliament and colonists. |

C. Practice-
1. Activity Sheets to use during movies, filling in blanks of specific
people and events.
2. Ask students to research in a computer lab and write a paragraph
of a specific event that sounds interesting to them.
3. Hand out a guided time line for students to fill in. |

1. Assign homework that requires students to answer questions about
topics discussed in class.
2. Have students draw out images of specific events and label them,
this could be a project idea.
