3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1. All students will score above a 75% on their 1920's project.
2. All students will be able to score at least a 70% on their 1920's test.
3. Students will be able to comprehend the information they research.
 
4. Objectives-
1. Students will understand the lives of people who lived in the 1920's.
2. Students will be able to think about how their life would differ if they lived in this time period.
3. Students will be able to think about how similar their lives would be if they lived in this time period.
4. Students will be able to apply the information they use in their projects.
5. Students will create a scrapbook of pictures and journal entries for their projects.
6. Students will evaluate each other's scrapbooks.

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

I will introduce students to the 1920's by showing them The Great Gatsby from 2000. Then I will show them a PowerPoint of the 1920's and show them a PowerPoint from this era.
 

B. Development-

1. I will get computer lab time for students to research information.
2. I will provide materials (paper, markers, pencil, and other resources) for students to use.
3. I will give students time to go to the library and to research more information that the textbook does not cover.
4. The students will also go over lessons from the text book.
 

C. Practice-

1. Using computers to research
2. Reading books over the 1920's
3. Creating scrapbooks in class
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Text book quizzes
2. Progress on the scrapbook
3. Quizzes over information
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1. Students can record their projects on a tape recorder or on video.
2. Students could write a paper over 1920's.
3. Students could make powerpoints.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1. Homework over 1920's
2. Checking progress on scrapbook
3. Test at the end of the chapter
 

G. Closure-

1. Students will present their project to their fellow students during class.
2. Students will evaluate their classmates work.
