4. Objectives-
To know study guide to study for the test at the end of the week.

5. Materials and Aids-
PowerPoint, worksheet(study guide), books.

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

Essential Question-"Why would the differing values of Sparta and Athens cause conflict?

B. Development-

Teacher goes over some questions that they did when they were going through the chapter. Make sure that kids comprehend most of what they did.

C. Practice-

Go through the study guide for about 20 minutes and answer all questions that they can on their own, putting a question mark beside the ones they can't, answer ones they can't with their books, and when they go to study, they will know that the question marked are the ones they need to really need to go over.

D. Independent Practice-

Answering questions on the study guide, using their book to help.

Checking for understanding-

When students were done with their study guide, the teacher went through and asked all the questions. She went down each row and made each student answer a question, if they were wrong or didn't know she let someone in the class help. Also this made sure that all students had the correct answer.

Closure-

Made sure that everyone knew when their test was. Reviewed questions that came directly from their quiz for the next day. Reviewed these questions until the bell rang.

7. Evaluation-
Children got to work in groups that the teacher picked while they did their study guides. This helped them because it allowed them to discuss their answers among each other to make sure they were right. I really liked how the class ran smoothy, and went from bell to bell, and all the students had smiles on their faces, and seemed like they all understood what the lesson was about.

8. Teacher Reflection-
Kids were really into the lesson. I never saw one child who looked sleepy or laid their head down on their desk. When answering the question, they all wanted to answer. If they got the question right, the teacher would high five them and do a little dance, even though they are in the 9th grade, they loved seeing their teacher act crazy when something was right! The dancing and high fives are a great thing to use in classes, no matter what the age is!
