1. Assign each student a country
2. Split students into groups of 3
3. Have students participate in a mock trench warfare battle
 

D. Independent Practice-

1. Vocabulary sheet
2. Matching activity (Students must match the country with its Alliance during WWI)
3. Student must make a visual on their topic for WWI (Ex: Battle, Country, Pop Culture Events, Policy, Type of war tactic)

I will provide materials for each activity (markers, paper, magazines, video clips, news articles, and etc.)

1. Quiz students on WWI
2. Group discussion (Could the conflict have been prevented?)

Have the class think about how the treaties and the armistice led to W.W.II
