Given the Theme for the week- "Here We Go!,"
1-The children will share books and talk about how people and animals
in the books move,
2- TCW move solid shapes to show different positions,
3- TCW look at pictures of forest and jungle animals and describe
them and how they move,and
4- TCW learn about safe behavior around bodies of water by participating
in "I Do, We Do, & You Do" activities throughout the week.

A. Introduction-
TUES- Gather children to carpet/circle time- read Big Book- "We're
Going on a Lion Hunt" Think/Talk Time, let children help retell story
WED- Gather children, read Little Hands Library book-"Me in Motion"

THURS- Gather children, listen to on CD, "Rabbit's Rope Tug" Think/Talk
Time
*All Theme-Related books are displayed for children to read/look at.

TUES- Review/Sing Theme Song- "Let's Move!" together
WED- Teach children- "We're Going on a Lion Hunt" Chant/Act Out together
THURS- *Did not get to this last week- Teach children- "The Hokey

D. Independent Practice-
TUES- Each child will color, cut, glue his/her sequencing pictures
in correct order to go with the story- "We're Going on a Lion Hunt"
WED- Each child will create his/her own Lion face using materials
listed in the Materials Section of LP.
THURS- Each child will color/cut/glue his/her rabbit to a paper bag
to make a puppet. |

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
Teacher/Peer Modeling, Allow ample time to complete projects/activities,
1 to 1 and small group assistance |

F. Checking for understanding-
Teacher will ask questions throughout and encourage responses from
each child to ensure understanding. |

The children will gather back to carpet each day to share/discuss
their completed project. |
