investigate and demonstrate ways to move their bodies by participating
in "I Do, We Do, & You Do" activities throughout the week. |

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-
TUES- Gather children to carpet/circle time- read Big Book- "Thesaurus
Rex" Think/Talk Time, let children help retell story
WED- Gather children, read "Animal Action ABC" Think/Talk Time
THURS- Gather children, have them watch/listen to "The Gingerbread
Man" on the SB, Think/Talk Time
*All Theme-Related books are displayed for children to read/look at. |

B. Development-
TUES- Teach children Theme Song- "Let's Move!" Sing/Act out together
WED- Teach children- "I Can!" Chant/Act Out together
THURS- Teach children- "The Hokey Pokey" Sing/Act Out together
*All words to songs,chants, etc. are copied and sent home. |

TUES- Each child will color,cut,and assemble his/her own dinosaur
using brads
WED- Each child will color, cut out his/her Animal Action ABC Picture
to be displayed on BB
THURS- Each child will color,cut and attach to straws his/her story
telling set of "The Gingerbread Man." |

Teacher/Peer Modeling, Allow ample time to complete projects/activities,

F. Checking for understanding-
Teacher will ask questions throughout and encourage responses from
each child to ensure understanding. |
