3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
|
Enhance the curiosity in children about the state of matter. Make
children wonder about what other substance has same characteristic
of GAK and how they can use it. Relieve stress and establish a great
association between Science, Language Art, Music, Social Studies and
Reading, Writing and Math. Increase fine and gross motor skills. Observe
and internalize concepts of the different States of matter. Visualize
a change process. Identify physical characteristics of the matter
(color, shape, odor, texture). Develop new vocabulary. Identify and
live the scientific process ( hypothesis, recollection of data, comprobation
and conclusion). Have fun. |

Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-
Students will work in groups of 4. Establish 4 different captains
and describe their jobs before the experiment. Students need to fill
up their individual, group, class experiment's evaluation. |

Checking for understanding-
Whole group share their discoveries, conclusion. The teacher writes
those on board so students can write them in their own journal. Informal
evaluation. Use cooperative learning structures. |
