A. Introduction-

1.Home row.
2.Identify keys on the keyboard.
3.Gain typing speed.
 

B. Development-

1.Teacher will explain home row.
2.Teacher will identify keys on the keyboard.
3.Teacher will check progress on speed typing.
 

C. Practice-

1.Follow up on each student to see if they understood.
2.Monitor each class, if they are following what they have learned.
 

D. Independent Practice-

1.Check next class to see if they understood and use what they have learned the class before.
2.Check and follow the progress on each student.
 

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

Make groups if necessary.
 

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Check on each student if they have learned by asking question.
2.Check how they rest their hands on the keyboard.
3.Check if they understood home row.
 

G. Closure-

1.By identifying home row, start to warm up the keyboard typing class.
2.Practice on the Rapid Typing software.
