3. Goals: Aims/Outcomes-
1.Students demonstrate productive and work ethics.
2.Students will explore new technologies (including photo story 3)
3.Students will be able to incorporate and choose music in an effective presentation.
4. Objectives-
1. Use personal pictures and music to create a photo story
2. Utilize different tools to enhance their presentation.
3. Have the students demonstrate their photo story creation.
5. Materials and Aids-
Computer, scanner (if students don't have their pictures on their computer), Photo Story 3, music (which you can find online)
6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1.Teachers prompts students on technology of the past.
2.Discuss the pros and cons of old technologies(chalkboards and power point) and new technologies (windows movie maker and photo story three)
3.Introduce students on thoughts for creating their own photo story

B. Development-

1.Teacher creates their own photo story to show the class.
2.Teacher can express creativity through photos and music.
3.A brief explanation about how to incorporate music and pictures into photo story 3.

C. Practice-

1.Begin exploring software.
2.Find photos and consider music.
3.Tinker with creative tools to enhance the project.

D. Independent Practice-

1. Brain storm first (vacation, life changing event)
2. Explore and become familiar with Photo Story 3
3. Get approval with teacher on students music and pictures for the presentation.

E. Accommodations (Differentiated Instruction)-

1.Alternative input devices.
2.Artificial Intelligence (take the lessons home with them if they need extra time)
3.ESOL students: these students can incorporate their ethnic culture and language by demonstrating a bilingual presentation.

F. Checking for understanding-

1.Presenting their presentation.
2.Class discussion on class software.
3.A personal written reflection on the presentation (Should I use this again).

G. Closure-

Ask students how they could use photo story 3 for other subjects.
