Completed Cardboard Sculpture: Student will be able to carefully draw, cut, decorate and assemble a compelling arrangement of cardboard letters into a 3D sculpture.
Work is incomplete, craftsmanship is weak and the design shows no effort.
All letters are present and fully completed. Letter design and building strategies are basic with little originality.
Final structure is fully decorated and sturdily built. Effort was taken to make a careful design. Craftsmanship is average.
Final structure is a unique and detailed personal expression. Design is a complex and pleasing combination that is meaningful to the student. Craftsmanship is excellent.
