#2 Side Kick (off of back leg)
Decipher a front and back leg, tap your back leg and that is your kicking leg. Lift leg and kick out in front of you.
Enhance your beginning stance by placing one foot in front of the other. Put your hands in fists in front of your body, Lift your leg at least waist level, bending it to the side of you, your knee pointed away from you. Then kick leg out in front of you, landing with kicking leg in front.
Enhance beginning stance further by establishing your feet being shoulder width apart, still one in front of the other. Have your hands up with firm fists, and lift your back leg with your knee pointed away from you. Make sure you flex your foot, not point your toes. Rotate your hips to create power and speed as you kick in front of you.End with kicking leg in front of you.
Have perfect beginning stance with your hands up, pointing knee away from you with foot flexed. As you rotate your hips, make sure the leg you are standing on moves with your body, having your foot which was facing forward to face 180 degrees behind you. As you release the kick, make sure you do not over kick, having your foot end up directly in front of you, at waist height or higher.
____
Punch with Back Hand
Put your hands in fists, choosing the right hand to do the punch. Reach your right hand in front of you keeping the fist.
Establish a sense of balance by going in a proper stance with your left leg in front of the right. Have your hands up in fists, and place your right hand just above your hip. Place your left hand straight in front of you at the same time, then switch your hands by having your left hand go to your left hip and right hand go straight in front of you.
Enhance beginning stance further by establishing your feet being shoulder width apart, still left in front of the right. As you place your right hand above your hip, make sure as your hands are in fists, have your palm facing upwards, and the other hand in straight front of you, palm facing downwards. Switch your hands again by having your left hand go above your left hip, rotating your fist to having it palm facing upwards. As that occurs your right hand is also rotating to go straight in front of you, and your palm facing downwards.
Assure your stance is in proper position, left in front of right shoulder width apart. Start with your fists in proper position left being straight in front palm downwards, right above your hip palm facing upwards. As you switch hands, rotate your hips to create more power and speed. Once you rotate your hands, being opposite of each other, assure your ending position is your body is more facing towards the left, not straight in front of you. Your back heel will be off the ground, and then your punch is completed.
