Penche - should be able to maintain balance, body and leg are working simultaneously, back is arched not making a straight line with leg lifted in the air, foot in the air is pointed, supporting leg and foot is turned out, arms held in third arabesque and eyes are following your front hand.
Unbalanced, body and leg are not working simultaneously, body and leg create a straight line, foot in the air is unpointed, suppporting leg and foot is turned in, arms are flailing and eyes are unable to follow front hand.
Able to maintain balance for short period of time, body and leg are beginning to work simultaneously, back has a slight arch, foot in the air is somewhat pointed, supporting leg and foot are somewhat turned out, arms are slightly flailing, eyes are slighty following the front hand.
Able to maintain balance throughout with few wiggles, body and leg are working simultaneously, back is arched, foot in the air is pointed, supporting leg and foot are turned out, arms are held in third arabesque with a few flails, and eyes are following your front hand.
Able to maintain balance throught with no wiggles, body and leg are moving together, back is fully arched, foot in the air is fully stretched and pointed, supporting leg and foot are fully turned out, arms are held in third arabesque with no flails, and eyes are following front hand

Fouettes - take off with a pirouette, arms and leg open to the front, turning on a straight leg and spotting the front, foot is pointed and in correct placement at the knee, arms in proper first position and able to complete seven turns in eight counts.
Took off with half of a pirouette, arms and leg did not open to the front. turning on a bent leg and not spotting the front, foot is unpointed and in the incorrect position on the leg, arms in an unproper first position and only able to complete one to three turns in eight counts.
Took off with a pirouette, arms in leg open slightly off to on side of the front, turning on a slightly bent leg, and generally spotting the front, foot is pointed and almost in the correct position at the knee, arms in a slightly bent first position and able to complete four to six turns in eight coutns.
Took off with a pirouette, arms and leg open to the fornt, turning on a stretched and straight leg, spotting the front, foot is pointed and in the correct position at the knee, arms in a proper first position, and able to complete seven turns in eight counts.
Took off with a double pirouette, arms and leg open directly to the front, turning on a fully stretched and straight leg, spotting the front, foot is fully stretched and pointed and is at the correct position on the knee, armns in a proper first position and able to complete more than seven turns in eight counts.
