makes minimal effort to work in public speaking exercises
and preparatory work. Often needs teacher prodding.

shows a desire to work on public speaking exercises
and preparatory work and grasps their objectives. Completes
assignments and volunteers on a regular basis.

Grade "A": Student
volunteers for all public speaking exercises and participates
with enthusiasm. Shows originality/creativity in his/her
work.
