Student can identify animals that live on a farm vs. animals that do not. Student will show this by completing the sorting activity correctly.

Student can identify most farm animals and can portray this with the correct colors/materials.

Student cannot differentiate between various farm animal sounds. They are unable to participate in the introductory song, "Old MacDonald."
Student can identify less than half of the animals sounds. They can sing along with only 1 or 2 of the animal noises.
Student is able to match most (at least 75%) farm animals with the appropriate sounds. He/she can participate in the introductory song, missing 1 or 2 animals sounds.
Student is able to match farm animals with the appropriate sounds. He/she can fully participate in the introductory song by singing the appropriate words and using the accompanying movements.
