Format (Video or Typed Interview)
The Video or Typed Interview is too short and does not follow directions.
The Video or Typed Interview meets the minimum requirements, but is sloppy and not put together well. The student very rarely asks follow-up questions to get more information out of the person being interviewed.
The Video or Typed Interview is mostly put together well and follows the requirements. The student attempts to ask follow-up questions to make the interview richer.
The Video or Typed Interview is well-done and exceeds expectations in length and topic requirements. The student does an excellent job asking follow-up questions when the person being interviewed gives short or lacking responses.

Question/Answers
The Interview is based solely off questions gathered from the "Little Bit of Culture" worksheet with no effort to extend beyond these questions.
The Interview is based mostly on questions gathered from the "Little Bit of Culture" worksheet with very few original questions developed by the student.
The Interview includes questions from the "Little Bit of Culture" worksheet, but the student makes a strong effort to extend off of these questions during the interview process.
The student develops his or her own new categories that focus on the guardian/teen dynamic while still including the old categories from the "Little Bit of Culture" worksheet. The new questions make for a well-rounded interview.

Summation
The summation shows little effort on the student's part if included at all.
Some effort is put into the summation, but it still needs a lot of work.
The summation focuses on the differences between the student's opinion and his/her elder, but leaves some room for deeper connections.
The student does an excellent job displaying what he/she learned from the interview process demonstrating the generational gap or lack there of between elder and teen.
