The objective is for students to be able to understand the basic knowledge of computer skills.

The students will learn how to use Microsoft word.

The students will then begin to learn how to add clip art and such into their documents.

The students will learn how to use columns and word art.

The students will take all they learned and make a flyer for a school dance.

The students will learn how to use Excel.

The students will begin by understanding the basics of excel and why it is used.( I will show them an example of my gradebook)

The students will learn how to add columns and rows to the spreadsheet.

The students will learn how to wrap the text in order to fit all the words in a row or column.

The students will show their knowledge of excel by creating a chart of all the students names in the class.

The students will then learn how to create powerpoint.

The students will first learn how to add pictures and words to the powerpoint by adding columns and choosing a layout.

The students will then learn how to add background.
|
The students will learn how to add art to their presentations.

To show that the students fully understand the concept, they will create a 5 page slideshow of their family.
