Columbus and Mr.Skeptical

Introduction:
You are a judge and you have a big case ahead of you. Mr. Skeptical wants to know about Christopher Columbus and he disagrees that Columbus was the person that discovered America. He also thinks that if it was Columbus that discovered America then it was really bad for the Native Americans. As the judge you think differently and know that it was Columbus that discovered America. You want to prove it by using different resources. Now, are you up to solve the case of a dead explorer? Let's get ready and find out!
Task:
To help you solve the case I have some work for you to do, answer the following questions so that you can get the skeptical out of Mr.Skeptical:
1)Identify and explain who Christopher Columbus was.
2)Describe Columbus' time period.
3)Identify how he ended up in the Americas.
4)List his discoveries in the Americas.
5)Compare the advantages and disadvantages of Columbus' arrival to the new world .
Based on these questions you are going to create a PowerPoint presentation
Process:
You are going to create 7 slides using PowerPoint and each slide is going to have specific information listed on it as listed above. Here are some tips to help you do your best:
1)Be specific, make sure that you don't copy word-for-word from the website.
2)Have fun! Make the most out of the project.
3)Be organized- you want to make sure that the PowerPoint is neat and in order.
4)Use the rubric- it is very helpful.
5)Be creative- though creativity it's not part of the rubric it can give a good impression- decorate the PowerPoint
6)Don't fill every slide with pictures sometimes it's better to have a little.
