1. at the end of the class ss would be able to ask the price of any product they would like to buy.
2. At the end of the class ss will be able to order food at any place they want to buy food.

6. Procedures/Methods-

A. Introduction-

1st lesson (2 hrs approx..)
*How to ask about prices*
1. teacher will ask his ss what do they usually buy to eat @ their lunch time.
Teacher will write in the wb all of the words provided by their ss. Teacher will classify the vocabulary in snacks, food and drink. (10 min).
2. teacher will ask his ss how much does their food cost.(10 min)
3. teacher will write the 1st topic on the blackboard; *How to ask about prices*

2nd lesson (2 hrs approx..)
*How to order food in a café*
1. teacher will ask his ss if they can recommend or suggest a good place to eat, teacher will ask his ss the name and the location of those places.
2. teacher will ask his ss if they can mention the name of meals served at this café, restaurants; teacher will write the name of the meals in the wb.
3. teacher along with his ss will compare if the meals are similar among the café and restaurants they have mentioned previously.
Teacher will write the name of the lesson in the wb; How to order food in a café.

 

B. Development-

1st lesson
1. ss will inq. to some of their ss to read text in page 56 (student book) (10 min)
2. teacher will add the vocabulary ss didn't mention when they were talking about food they eat at lunch time. (5 min).

Teacher will give their ss some time so they can work in their final task (40 min)

2nd lesson

1. teacher together with his ss will practice the pronunciation of the new vocabulary, also teacher randomly will select some of his ss to pronounce the new vocabulary (20 min).
 

C. Practice-

1st lesson
1. teacher will ask their ss to complete exercises A1,A2 and A3 (page 57) (15 min)
2. Teacher along with his ss will check the correct answers for all of the previous exercises (5 min)

3. ss will complete exercises
B4, B5 and B6. (20 min), then all together will check the correct answers, teacher will ask for the correct answers but will select ss randomly. (5 min)

4. Teacher will give an explanation related to countable and uncountable nouns (20 min)
5. ss will complete exercises C7, C8, C9, C10 and C11, (30 min)then when ss have finished teacher will select some of his ss randomly so they can give the correct answers. (10 min)

5. Teacher together with his ss will complete exercises D12, 13, 14 (15 min)

2nd lesson
Vocabulary
1. teacher will redirect his ss to see pictures in page 58 student book, then ss will have to complete exercises A1, A2, A3. (20 min))
2. teacher along with his ss will check the correct answers of the vocabulary exercises (10 min).

3. Teacher will give an explanation of how to use some/any, differences, etc. (20 min)
4. teacher will ask his ss to complete exercises B4, B5, B6, B7, B8 (30 min)
5. teacher together with the group will check the correct answers of previous exercises (15 min)

6. ss will complete exercises C9 and C10 in order to practice their pronunciation. (7 min)

1. SS working in pairs will set up a roll play assuming they are in a cafe. (15 min)

F. Checking for understanding-

The teacher will leave some homework in the form of workbook pages.
