A. Introduction-
1. Introduce the type of poetry.
2. Open the PowerPoint to begin teaching about this form of poetry.
3. Give out handout so that the students can follow along in the explanations. |

B. Development-
1. Go over poem in the handout
2. Ask questions about the techniques involved in the writing.
3. Finish up the PowerPoint |

| Begin asking trivia questions about what we just went over about
the type of poetry. |

| Have the students talk among groups for a moment to put together
an idea of an example of a Villanella poem |

| Ask some general questions on Villanella poetry to get an idea of
how many students understood the explanations and could then write
