2. Using a student guest speaker, the students can relate to and look
up to, and admire they will gain a better understanding on how to
complete proper notes.

A. Introduction-
1. Introducing the Guest Speaker and how similar his past is to
the current freshman.
2.Use examples of other teachers note taking expectations.
3.Introducing Bi-Fold and Tri-Fold notes |

B. Development-
1.Guest speaker will show the do's and don'ts of note taking, modeling
new note taking methods and also showing old methods.
2.Introducing Bi-Fold and Tri-Fold note taking Strategies.

C. Practice-
The Study Skills students will utilize a blank note taking guide
to fill out from their own textbooks.

D. Independent Practice-
1. Using the blank note guides in other classes for bonus points
2. Weekly binder checks to see if note taking has improved.
